Tour Package Details

So you want to ride? Oregon Adventures has what you need. Custom tours in small enough groups so the trails seem untouched yet enough people to keep an energetic group dynamic. Our guides are fun, caring and outgoing. Our trails are beautiful and nearly endless and our packages fit most every size.

Below you'll find links to our tour packages for 2010. Please feel free to contact us for more details or questions. As with every year, space is limited and tours fill up quickly so don't delay and book your tour today. Miles of Single Track trails await you!

Camping

The camping option included as part of the tour is a primitive camping area on private land within one minute walk to the Willamette River. The camping area is on a beautiful piece of land that includes it's own small, spring-fed waterfall. The site is very basic with a porta potty.

Enjoy riding, hiking, fishing, berry picking and more from the camping spot. The local Forest Service Ranger District policy does not allow camping by tour companies on forest service land and all the land around Oakridge is forest service land.

Oregon Adventures does not provide any camping equipment. Riders will need to bring all of their own equipment.

Lodging

Not into the primitive camping scenario? The Oakridge area offers a variety of lodging including: small motels, yurts, and B&B's, a hostel and vacation rental houses. Rather than assign a certain lodging property to our tours; we will work with you to find the lodging that works for you and your group. We will pick you up and drop you off at your lodging daily. While Oakridge offers a variety of lodging, there are not a lot of rooms available in the area; there are less than 100 rooms available in the whole area, so book early!
To learn more about local lodging please visit the Oakridge Chamber of Commerce.

Meals

Meals are included as a part of all of our tours, starting the morning of the first day of the tour through lunch on the last day of the tour.

Breakfast will vary depending on the tour.
We will either eat at a local restaurant or eat a good hardy breakfast by the river or somewhere special.

A gourmet lunch will be provided out on the trail or at a fun, local site such as the Office Covered Bridge - Oregon's longest covered bridge, which now serves as a great backdrop to a small picnic area and lower trailhead for the Alpine Trail.
Here is a sample lunch :

  • Tapenade with French bread from the local bakery Fresh fruit and cheese platter
  • Pesto chicken pasta salad
  • Assorted local breads
  • Sliced meat and cheese
  • Veggies
  • Olives
  • Chips and salsa
  • Coleslaw
  • Brownie

Dinner: Each night we will go out as group to eat at a local restaurant. A couple great dining establishments in town:

The Brewers Union Local 180 is our local brewery and pub. What sets it apart from others is they brew all their beer - English Real Ale style and all their beer is served out of a beer engine. Not into English style cask ales? That's OK. There are always a few regional microbrews on tap. Enjoy a great meal and sample great beer while talking about the amazing ride you enjoyed that day.

Lee's Gourmet Garden. We know what you're thinking ... a Chinese restaurant.. really? But you have not meet Jeff or had his food. Jeff makes very fresh food to order. Chef Lee has worked in the kitchens of Park City's most renowned restaurants, and has been the personal chef to Robert Redford and Jackie Chan during the Sundance film festival. As a bonus, Jeff is one funny guy.

If you have dietary restrictions please let us know before you arrive.

Group tour sizes

We believe in fun small tour groups, so our guides can spend time with you and make your experience more enjoyable. Our tours are limited to groups of no more then 25 people at a time including guides. We try and keep our guide ratio at one guide for every 5 riders, so riders can move at their own pace. We realize some riders move at a different pace then others, so our groups will end up in much smaller groups then 20 riders. We know some riders love to take a lot of pictures, while others just like to ride. Our shuttle service does not have a rider limit.
